The ShadowBlade
The ShadowBlade is an ancient weapon that binds itself to its wielder and reshapes them into Zeravos. It can cleave through monsters, cast dark incantations, and feed off the moral strength of its bearer.
Inside the blade is the essence of Skia, the former ruler of Umbra. His whispers push the wielder toward choices that serve his hidden designs.
The ShadowBlade cannot be wielded by just anyone. It is selective, choosing those who would never seek its power. Its strength grows only from the goodness within a man’s soul.
Ethan Kade
Ethan was a devoted family man and scholar, a heart of gold who poured himself into being the best father and most loving husband. All that goodness became fuel for the ShadowBlade to consume. Now he walks the razor’s edge between the man he once was and the weapon he has become.
Arkanis – The Lord of Chaos
Once a respected member of the Umbral Council, Arkanis became obsessed with power and control. Unable to claim the ShadowBlade, he manipulated events so Ethan would take it instead.
Arkanis now seeks to bend both the blade and its wielder to his will, using deception and ancient magic to achieve his goals.
The Hoods
An elite mercenary group operating in the shadows of Umbra.
Shade
Leader of the Hoods. Strategic, cold, and relentless. Wields the twin-bladed chain whip: Twinlash.
Specter
Tactical expert, the bow and arrow bestowed onto him. Shade’s trusted second-in-command and blood brother.
Whisper
Infiltration specialist, healer, dagger marksman. Master of disguise. The team’s silent blade.
Viper
Frontline warrior, tank, one with an axe. Fiercely loyal to Shade and the Hoods’ code.
Phantom
Silent assassin. Shade’s son. Gifted in stealth, poisons, and beating enemies down to the ground with his iron knuckle busters.
Skia – The Primordial Shadow
Born from creation's chaos, Skia is the source of the ShadowBlade’s power. Pure evil, but not the straitforward kind. Skia represents equilibrium itself. Though long forgotten, Skia’s influence begins to stir within Ethan, whispering secrets in battle, and providing assistance to its wielder.
