Meet the Creator

Hey, I’m Marcus, the writer and creator behind Zeravos and the Dark Root Comics universe. This project began as a personal passion — an outlet for the characters, conflicts, and emotions that had been living in my head for years. They demanded to be given form, to be drawn into existence.

I’ve always been drawn to character-driven storytelling — the kind where every decision carries weight, every line cuts deep, and every visual moment leaves a mark. My goal was to build a world that feels personal, powerful, and psychologically rich — that’s how Zeravos was born.

What started as an idea during my final year of university evolved into an 11-issue series exploring identity, power, loyalty, and the darkness that shapes us. With Dark Root Comics, I want to push boundaries — to create stories that challenge and resonate long after you’ve turned the final page.
